All those interested in getting this charity event under way, please click here to see all the comments and suggestions that have come up. When we get our computer back (see previous post), we’ll add any further comments and start to get things running. Also, we want to get a list together of those who want a space and another for various volunteers (Tanya has volunteered to get the list together, bless her). It looks as though an interchange of e-mails is called for, but it is not a good idea to do that in an open comments box. So, Prospero will act as an intermediary on this as soon as he can. Someone suggested a meeting of the ‘organizers’, which we can do on JimenaPulse’s return from our inevitable hiatus.

GOVERNMENT DELEGATE DENIES EXISTENCE OF ORGANIZED CRIMINAL BANDS
The sub-delegate of the central government in Cádiz, Sebastián Saucedo, denied the existence of ‘organized bands’ in the area at a meeting in Algeciras. This follows a long series of break-ins and burglaries in the Campo de Gibraltar since the beginning of the year. “Algeciras,” he stated, “is below the average in the province, the region, the country and Europe.” He went on to request that ‘social alarm’ need not be created “by certain irresponsible people, as police work is bearing its fruits.” (Prospero comment: Read the rest of this entry »
