GAS SCAM
Further to our previous articles (click here and here) on a gas scam that has been carried out in Jimena, the Town Hall has published a bando (official announcement) on the matter. It gives instructions on what to do if you get a knock on the door from what could be an unauthorized gas installer, of which Jimena has had its fair share already, having taken up to €250 from elderly and non-Spanish-speaking residents. VANDALISM!

10.4 MILLION JAPANESE TO SEE ANDALUCÍA
Channel 10 of Japan is to dedicate 60 minutes to Andalucía as a tourist destination, of a 95-minute special travel programme that is expected to be viewed by 10.4 million people. Japanese film crews are due to spend the next couple of weeks shooting scenes in Málaga, Granada and Cádiz as guests of the Junta de Andalucía. Read the rest of this entry »
