The new edition of MIRADAS DEL SUR magazine, in English and Spanish, will soon be available in Jimena. This month’s issue contains an article on Jimena artist Deborah González Knight. Look out for it soon at all the usual places: petrol station, banks, bars and restaurants.
SUBSTANCE
We recently received an e-mail from a Spanish reader who very diplomatically pointed out that JimenaPulse only seemed to contain advertising. On review of both conscience and content (the picture only fitted longways, but we get the message), we have to admit that he is right, at least about the last couple of weeks. We offer an apology to those who share his opinion and promise to do better. At the same time, we will obviously have to make those adverts shorter… but we’ll wait until the contracts run out and review the way they are posted then. In the meantime, thanks to our reader with an opinion or comment, we wish there were more like you.

La Cuadra opened in December last year and has already become one of the most popular watering holes in town. No wonder, the food is good, the service professional and attentive. Their pizzas rival for attention with some surprising dishes on the menu (also in English). They are at the top of the village and in top form. Give them a try, you won’t regret it!
