CHASING MORE THAN SMILEY
Our regular readers will have noticed a dearth of postings of late. Apologies once more, but blogging takes up a lot of time without much with which to pay the bills. So, not only do we have to get rid of that pesky Smiley over on the right sidebar (more time) but we also have to earn a living. However, we promise to get a few good things up today and over the weekend. In the meantime, thanks for your patience.
END OF YEAR CLASSICAL CONCERT
There was, apparently, an excellent concert of classical music at the Reina Sofía Cultural Centre in Estación on New Year’s Eve. From what we hear, it could have been better attended, even by us. One must presume that this involved quite a lot of work, as these things do. And organization, no doubt. What seems strange to us is that nobody from the organization took the trouble to get in touch with JimenaPulse about it. Considering that this is the only informational site in English about Jimena, we might assume that it would have been in their interest to do so. If not, so be it, but frankly we admit to being a bit miffed.
If you or your organization has anything going on in Jimena or any of the villages and towns around, and you want the expat community to know about it, all you have to do is send the information to us via our e-mail (See ‘Contact Us’ on the left sidebar). We will be happy to help. That is why we’re here, after all, and is probably why we are getting over 100 visits per day.
PEACE ON EARTH
A single seasonal wish to all our readers, advertisers, friends and enemies:
PEACE ON EARTH!
(We figure that if the animals, supposedly irrational creatures, can do it, why can’t we, who are supposedly rational? Anyway, just a bah-humbug thought…)
