Confusion at the beginning of term – again?

EuropaSur_090909 Under a headline in today’s online edition of EuropaSur that reads “‘More reading, more technology, more languages and more youth’ for the new term” an article states mañana comienza el curso escolar para los alumnos de segundo ciclo de Infantil, Primaria, ESO y Bachillerato (school year begins tomorrow etc.).>PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ITEMS SUCH AS THIS MAY BE SUBJECT TO SUBSCRIPTION IN THE FUTURE but you can make a donation NOW, too! Class lists are still being prepared, too. If your child does not go to that school, we strongly recommend you call his/her ‘place of learning’ to make sure. EuropaSur has changed this article, though we don’t claim any influence. It now reads: ‘Comienza un curso marcado por las polémicas sobre el calendario, los portátiles y la gripe A’, or ‘New term begins marked by controversy about [school] calendar, laptops and Swine Flu’. JimenaPulse will be looking closely at it, though not today as we’ve already been sitting here for almost ten hours!
