We woke up on Saturday morning to hear that Plaza de la Constitución, the beginning of Calle Sevilla and Calle Romo had been hit by vandals sometime between 5 and 7am. By the time we got there to take photos, the mess had been cleared up (good job, team!). Mostly, plants and shrubs had been uprooted from their heavy planters, but we also heard that several car windows and rear view mirrors had been broken. Once more, we have to ask: Where were the police? Is it impossible to have any kind of protection when there is an event (La Novena)?
