About Jimena de la Frontera, the province of Cadiz and Spain as a whole, focused on this small village in the mountains

Archaeological remains at castle vandalised

aljibes4 (http://rflx-s.blogspot.com/) The address in brackets is Currini’s blog, one of the most interesting about Jimena. Yesterday, he published photos of the vandalism that is going on at the Moorish water reservoirs at the castle. Some years ago, the Council decided they needed protection, which indeed they did. They got a door and glass windows, all of which have been damaged. It is also dangerous to try to climb in there, as there wouldn’t be any way of getting out. Is there no civic pride in this village? (More photos from Currini’s blog by El Niño de las Torres below>)
