Outrage over poisoned eagles

aquilaadalberti2 We received this e-mail yesterday: “This post appeared on Bird Forum late last week: 3 Spanish Imperial Eagles (Aquila adalberti, the Iberian Imperial Eagle, very near extinction) were killed by poison, from the pair near Isla Mayor, Doñana. The female and two chicks were found dead last week, the male is missing. Apparently poisoned rabbits were left under the nest. Is there any way you can get some publicity either locally or preferably nationally for this disgraceful criminal act? Yours in hope, Jon.” We’ll do our best, won’t we, Dear Reader? Copy and paste this link: https://jimenapulse.wordpress.com/2009/07/17/outrage-over-poisoned-eagles/ and pass it on.
