(Agencies) Ignacio Millán, a student at the Catering College in San Roque (IES Hostelera) has been granted a scholarship to work fro three months at one of Spain’s most prestigious restaurants, the Arzak in San Sebastián (photo) run by 3-star Michelin Guide chef Juan Mari Arzak and his daughter Elena. According to San Roque Councillor for Education Ramón Ramírez, the Euro-Toques Lorenzo Cañas scholarship is “not only a reflection of the quality offered by the college but also of Ignacio’s work”. The scholarship is granted by the Association of European Chefs and Millán is one of only four students in Spain to get it this year.
