‘My Pet and I’ photography competition

Copy of IMG_8948 Jimena’s Guadalinfo Centre announces a new edition of its annual ‘My Pet and I’ photography competition, the objective of which is to promote respect for animals through new technologies. It is aimed particularly at children though it is open to all. The dateline for handing in material is May 15th. Find out more below.>

Entry is simple. Just send in up to three photos of your pet (you do not have to be in the picture). According to Guadalinfo’s coordinator, Loli Segovia, artistic quality or technique is of only secondary importance. What counts is originality and simpatía (no direct translation but in this context means warmth, friendliness).

Entries should be sent in by May 15th, by e-mail to iconcursofotografiajimena@gmail.com (the site is protected, so you may need to activate JavaScript).

The first two editions of the competition was very well received; entries came in from all five continents, which caused Segovia to receive the Guadalinfo 2008 award for Most Innovative Project from the Junta de Andalucía.
