WHAT IS LA ESTRELLA?
This evening, a private party being held at one of Jimena’s premier establishments is turning the celebration of a 70th birthday into one of giving, which is not surprising, knowing who’s birthday it is. The invitation reads, amongst other things, ‘No presents please. A box will be placed on the bar for donations to La Estrella.‘ To our astonishment, we find there are very few foreign residents of Jimena who are aware of this local charity.
