You know this building, it’s right by the fire station.
It is the Cámara de Comercio de Cádiz building, which houses the Cadiz Chamber of Commerce, which is headed locally by Marcos Fernández Pajares.
This conference room is set up as an IT training centre but can easily be adapted to other uses.
And there are offices to let from €175 per month, with a/c, light and water included.
Excellent value.
The Chamber of Commerce, unlike most of its American or British counterparts, is not just about promoting local business members. Marcos will be happy to see you through the paperwork involved in setting up a business, in obtaining grants (the availability of which is updated daily!), business networking and all such similar things. He will also let you an office, with starting prices at €170 per month (see picture caption above) including Wi-Fi internet connection. And there’s more: they also offer a series of courses, very often free; the next one is a free Masters-level in the creation and/or consolidation of businesses, in Spanish of course, of 500 hours duration, to be held towards the end of October and subject to confirmation. Watch this space.
Prospero is very taken with the nomenclature Vivero de Empresas, which means ‘Business Nursery’ in the plant nursery sense – growing businesses: love the concept!
