Casting actresses for amateur theatre in Jimena
Spanish-speaking actresses of all ages are being sought for an amateur theatre group. Casting and/or registration for future activities will be held on Saturday, October 10, from 6 to 8pm, at La Casa Verde, just below the Town Hall in Jimena village.

The Roman ruins at Baelo Claudia, in Tarifa, are the impressive setting for a festival of theatre throughout August. Ancient works by the likes of Euripides, Sophocles and Aristophanes will be presented on 21 nights of the 30 in the month. Entrance is free but booking is thoroughly recommended. San Pablo’s Workshops for Peace get under way
(Press release) This year’s edition of Talleres por la Paz, in San Pablo de Buceite, got going yesterday morning. seventy-five children from Benaoján, Gaucín, Benarrabá, Algeciras, La Línea, Jimena, San Pablo, Atarfe (Granada) y Larache (Morocco) are taking part in a series of activities throughout the week.
