Anybody living in Jimena through a summer and a winter can tell you that the difference between the seasons can be astounding. As we took a walk through the village this morning, we took a picture of the Hozgarganta river bed: dry as a bone. It sometimes floods in the winter… Spain, a land of contrasts.
