The Department of Tourism of the Junta de Andalucía recently published a guide/brochure about Jimena with a full colour photograph of the casle… in Gaucín! Another picture of the entrance to our castle was ‘mirrored’, which made the ‘Arco del Reloj’ (entrance arch) appear to the left of the cemetery. The brochure was removed from circulation as soon as the mistake was noticed, although several copies were distributed before that. A good job, this, but I’ll bet nobody resigns and no-one is fired!
