Having yet had another totally indifferent menu of the day at the Rejas (not particularly cheap either)
I am wondering why jose doesn’t understand that if you cannot get the menu of the day apetising no one
is going to go back for the a la carte
Somebody talk to him - it is such a lovely venue which
I am afraid is being totally overshadowed by El Castillo.
And while I’m here, I’ll put my own oar in to say that I have eaten quite often there and have never had anything to complain about. On the contrary, I have had some excellent meals and very few indifferent ones.
I might add that I appreciate those who do not feel the need to use anonymity…
If it’s about anonymity, believe me, I keep very close control over it over here. I have some 40 or 50 anonymous and hurtful comments that have never been posted, and won’t be.
If it’s because you think I can’t criticize my advertisers, you’re wrong. I feel that constructive criticism, said kindly, privately and face to face is the best way to go about it. If someone can’t take it, and my conscience is clear, it becomes their problem, not mine.
Ohhhhh. May I just say, as winner of your recent competition and the prize being a meal at Las Rejas, that the meal was good, so was the company and Jose did his best to make us all very welcome. Thanks Jose and thanks to you too Prosp.

Or maybe it is just too late?
To Anonomous!
If you are so concerned why didn’t YOU confront Jose with your complaints so that he could rectify matters.
Retired restaurant critic G & T
PS Jose says you spell anonymous with a Y not an O!!
When i want a spelling lesson I will ask for one.
Glad you are retired.

I would have thought that jose looking at his lunchtime bums on seats numbers would have rectified it a longtime a go if he was interested.
Thats all I have to say on the subject
Hey, relax, all of you…

True, though I’m not sure why you say that.
