CLOSING DOWN
It is with great regret that we have to announce that, due to an unfortunate set of circumstances, this site is being closed down as soon as possible. Whether or not we resume publication under a different name is a matter of intense debate as we write.
While we are aware that this drastic measure may not unduly disturb you, we offer our apologies to those who rely on JimenaPulse for at least some of the news about Jimena. In the meantime we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your steadfast regularity, about which you, too, should probably be grateful. If not, we suggest prune juice.
(If you want to know the reasons, please write a comment below.)

Bugger! I’ve been listening to pranks all morning on the radio and didn’t connect the two.
Sneaky.

Je.

Okay, there is one comment that says it all, and of course, it comes from our good friend and colleague Ricardo ‘TioJimeno’ Gómez.
Inocente, Inocente, indeed. Innocent, Innocent – today it’s Día de los Inocentes, or Innocents’ Day. There is an equivalent, isn’t there? Wait for a new posting…
Juan Antonio, whose English is excellent, I’m sure, but he doesn’t write in it, says:
“In fact, Prospero won a Christmas Lottery ticket and is taking a sabbatical year off – at least – so he’s already ordered his membership card at the San Pablo golf club and he has shares in the airport so that he can get discounts for his private plane.
Hope you remember to send a postcard, mai frend.”
Then he goes on to add:
“Hah! You can get away with it because of the day it is, but I don’t think there’s a translation, as many haven’t got it. ‘Aren’t you naughty…’”
