WE NEED CORRESPONDENTS
If you would like to write regularly for JimenaPulse, and especially if you live in San Pablo, Marchenilla, San Martín del Tesorillo, San Enrique de Guadiaro (or any of the Guadiaros), Sotogrande or Gibraltar, please e-mail us here.
While this might be considered a ‘personal’ blog, we’d like to expand out horizons a bit towards the above areas. That is impossible for one person to do so we need some help. There’s no money in it for you (heck, there’s no money in it at all!) but it is rewarding, so get your journalistic juices flowing and give it a try.
RUBBISH AT SCHOOL
These pictures were taken this morning outside the Instituto Hozgarganta. Considering that students there are taking part in environmental activities as part of their Natural Sciences course (see related story here) by cleaning up the river after which their school is named, wouldn’t it be a good idea if they started by cleaning up a little closer to home?
MORE ROADWORKS
‘CALLE SEVILLA CLOSED FOR ROADWORKS – PARKING’
This sign went up two days ago, when work was scheduled to begin on the street in front of the banks (see related story here). But work hasn’t yet started and, according to supposedly reliable sources, they could begin any moment now – which means what?

However, traffic is to be diverted up San Sebastián to Jincaleta and through to Sevilla again. Before we put the proper traffic flow arrows on the map above (click to enlarge), we will await final decisions. Whatever the case, if you want to do any banking or eating & drinking near the square, you will have to park where the market is held on Fridays – so forget banking, eating & drinking on Friday mornings…
