Our good friend TioJimeno, who is incessant in finding these kinds of things or has a whole lot of contributors all over the place (more likely, since he can’t be everywhere at once - Prospero sighs, wishing for similar enthusiasm from his apparently moribund readers, with some exceptions), posted this item taken from Europa Sur, which was published three years ago (May 21st, 2004). To translate in brief: ‘NEW ROUNDABOUT FOR VILLAGE ENTRANCE. The Council is working with local painter and sculptor Juan Soler on a design for the decoration of a roundabout to be placed at the entrance to the village, according to Councillor Fernando Gómez…’ It goes on to give some details about how it will look, which don’t differ too much from what has recently been posted here.
